Room at Twelve
Riccardo Ullio (Sotto Sotto, Fritti) has brought Beleza, a Brazilian-inspired beauty, to the heart of Midtown, tempting diners with small plates of natural fare (think crudo, grains and sous-vide fish) meant to be washed down with rare-fruit cocktails; the diminutive space sports an organic feel (natch!) highlighted by a living wall of plants (905 Juniper St.; 678-904-4582).
Concentrics Restaurants has moved into Downtown with
Room at Twelve (pictured above), a modern steakhouse with a menu from chef Nick Oltarsh (
Lobby) that goes way beyond prime cuts – check out the sushi menu created by Vinings’ fish-master Tomohiro Naito of
Tomo; the stylish high-ceilinged digs are done up in slate and dark woods (with black, white and red accents), while a sushi bar facing an open kitchen and a comfortable bar/lounge round out its jewel-box setting (400 W. Peachtree St.; 404-418-1250).
