Michael Mina's new Bourbon Steakhouse opens on December 18th.
Michael Mina, whose eponymous New American in San Francisco is hailed as a “temple of gastronomy,” has been in overdrive of late. Having just opened his new steakhouse concept, Bourbon Steak, in Detroit's MGM Grand, he is about to debut a second edition at the Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort & Club outside of Ft. Lauderdale on December 18th (19999 W. Country Club Dr., Aventura; 305-932-6200).
And that isn't all for the top toque: Another Bourbon Steak will open in Arizona's Fairmont Scottsdale in February.
