Salmon at Citronelle
Michel Richard returns to the stoves in California – at least part-time – with Citronelle, the recently refurbished Carmel Valley Ranch’s flagship restaurant (an offshoot of his well-known Washington, DC, destination) where he’s infusing his iconic French dishes with locally grown ingredients; the modern dining room features leather banquettes and a U-shaped bar that separates the fine-dining space from the more casual cafe area.
