After the success of the first DineLA, the event is back again, offering frugal foodies an alternative to Wolfgang Puck frozen meals. 2009's event will once again be two weeks long, lasting from January 25th–30th and February 1st–6th. More than 100 restaurants will participate, including Akasha, Beacon, Ciudad, Grace, Patina, Rojo y Blanca, STK and many more, and each will offer three-course lunches ($16–$28) and dinners ($26–$44). Cost is set in proportion to the prices on the regular menu, with three set classifications: "deluxe dining," "premier dining" or "fine dining." Those with American Express cards can make reservations starting January 1st, while the general public will need to wait until the 11th. If you can't stifle your excitement and want to begin planning where you'll be eating, menus and a complete list of participating restaurants are available at www.dineLA.com.
