Erasing most traces of cool, sleek Restaurant L, chef-partner Pino Maffeo has turned the signature eatery at Louis Boston into Boston Public Meat, a warm, brown-on-brown steakhouse for the Back Bay’s power crowd; fans of Maffeo’s fusion-forward style needn’t fret since Asian influences abound on the pricey menu.
