From May 9th through August 29th, winners of the blind tasting tests held during this Four Seasons restaurant's Tuesday night "Epicurean Evenings" wine tastings will go on to a September 12th "taste-off"; the champ will receive a free night's stay at the hotel, complete with trips for two to The Bristol's Viennese dessert buffet and Aujourd'***'s Sunday brunch.

More news from the Four Seasons: the hotel's downstairs lounge launches a $27 express lunch menu offering three choices for each of four courses – such as parsnip-pear soup, Greek salad, turkey club on brioche and English toffee bread pudding.

Diva

This popular Davis Square Indian now boasts the poshest of lounges; adjoining the eatery, Diva Lounge features a small-plates menu and futuristic decor replete with illuminated wall panels and podlike bathrooms.

Grill 23

"Prime Beef Weekly Chef's Cuts" have debuted at this Back Bay steakhouse: the weekly changing selection of $33 dinner items might include bacon-wrapped cap steak with cheddar gnocchi and Scotch tenderloin with port-Stilton jus and mashed potatoes.

Le Soir

Served Tuesdays through Thursdays and before 6 PM on weekends throughout the month, this Newton bistro's "Spring Fest" menu ($32.50 for three courses) includes dishes such as a double-cut pork chop with sweet-and-sour cabbage and strawberry-rhubarb cobbler.

Metropolitan Club

The kitchen ambitiously celebrates soft-shell crab season all month long with "31 Ways in 31 Days": each evening, try a different special such as beer-chipotle-batter-fried crabs or crab-pesto pizza.

Petit Robert Bistro

Jacky Robert and partner Loic Le Garrec are planning another branch of Robert's casual bistro, this one in the South End space currently containing Rouge (480 Columbus Ave.), which is slated to close in early June.

OM Restaurant

Sunday brunch is on at OM; dig into à la carte dishes like Cherry Coke French toast and smoked salmon fillet with deviled eggs from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM.

Sandrine's

In celebration of its 10th anniversary, this Alsatian bistro is offering a different $10 deal each month; throughout May, enjoy lamb salad with lemon-thyme vinaigrette for a Hamilton.

Vicki Lee's

Veteran baker Vicki Lee Boyajian, who sold her eponymous Needham bakery to a new owner some five years ago (it recently closed), has resurfaced in Belmont with this new cafe.

Zócalo Cocina Mexicana

The Brighton branch is now serving brunch. Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 3 PM, chow down on tortas, huevos veracruzanos (scrambled eggs on tortillas with black beans, roast cactus and mashed potatoes), quesadillas and more; most items go for less than $10.
