Coming Soon

Rendang

In the industrial loftlike space that the Harvard Square branch of Penang used to occupy comes yet another Malaysian eatery, this one from the owners of OM (57 JFK St., Cambridge), debuting this month.

Good Deals and Other News

Boloco

From now through November 15th, the local chain will donate 50 cents from the sale of every "Late November" burrito to anti-hunger charity Community Servings.

Bomboa

33 Restaurant's neighbor is now 33 Restaurant's sibling – but despite the change of ownership, the French-Latin nightspot will retain its current identity through the fall.

Conundrum

"Ten After Ten" is the apt name for this Harvard Square eatery's new late-night menu, served Monday to Thursday from 10–11 PM and until midnight on Friday and Saturday; among the 10 selections are a game-sausage trio and a chocolate velvet shake with cookies.

LiNEaGe

Sunday night is now "Lobster Night" at Jeremy Sewall's place, where a three-course prix fixe menu ($45) features a choice from two appetizers and entrees, all lobster-based, plus dessert.

Mantra

Look out for this Ladder District Indian's new tandoori bread bar; set to open in the dining room in late fall, it will turn out baked-to-order baskets of multiflavored naan.

Metropolis Cafe

Breakfast is now being served weekdays at this South End staple; from 7:30 AM to 2 PM, you can dig into the likes of monte cristos with pear chutney, chocolate pancakes or huevos rancheros.

Oxford Street Grill

Under new chef Pierre Jenatton, this kitchen is introducing more bistro-esque elements to the menu – but fans of its former German slant needn’t fret: Wiener schnitzel, dumplings and sauerkraut remain.

Rialto

Get "Toasted" in the lounge of this Med mainstay: the new weeknight series pairs $7 glasses of wine with complimentary bruschetta from 5 to 7 PM.

Sandrine's

This bistro's yearlong program of $10 deals continues with "Wurst and a Thirst": this month, get a plate of three Alsatian sausages plus a mug of Harpoon Oktoberfest for your Hamilton.

Tomasso Trattoria

Panzano Provviste e Vino, Tomasso's own Italian market and wine shop, is now open at The Crossings (154 Turnpike Rd., Southborough; 1-508-485-8884), just a couple of doors down from the trattoria.

Troquet

This Theater District wine bar is now serving a light weekday lunch menu of soups, salads and sandwiches.

Verrill Farm

The Concord farm opens its "Pick-Your-Own-Pumpkin Patch" to the public every weekend this month; you can also purchase pre-picked pumpkins from its market (11 Wheeler Rd., Concord; 978-369-4494).
