Scampo, the upscale Italian from Lydia Shire (Locke-Ober, Excelsior), is
scheduled to open in the Liberty Hotel in December (215 Charles St.).
Lumière chef-owner Michael Leviton is aiming to debut Persephone in South Boston on December 15th; it will specialize in tapas-style dishes and large family-style plates meant for sharing (283 Summer St.).
Also expected to open in December: Olécito, a takeout version of Olé Mexican Grill, located in Cambridge
(12 Springfield St.); a Z Square outpost in Kenmore Square (580 Commonwealth Ave.); and Pie Bakery + Café, which will serve sweet and savory pies in Newton Centre (796 Beacon St.).
