2008 promises a spate of exciting new dining options in the Boston area. 62 on Wharf, a Mediterranean eatery, will debut soon after the new year at 62 Pickering Wharf in Salem. Meanwhile, mid-January will bring an outpost of Z Square to Kenmore Square (580 Commonwealth Ave.) and Michael Leviton's Persephone to South Boston (283 Summer St.). Finally, Scampo, the upscale Italian from Lydia Shire, plans to open its doors at the Liberty Hotel sometime in March (215 Charles St.).
