Highland Kitchen, a casual New American, has entered the Somerville scene serving inexpensive but upscale comfort food in a minimalist setting of exposed-brick walls accented by funky wire-sculpture light fixtures; regulars have already caught on to this neighborhood hang, punching in the dirty blues on the jukebox and sipping cocktails – made with fresh-squeezed juice – at the bar.
