Have you decided whether you'll stay in or go out on Super Bowl Sunday? In addition to these ideas, here are some suggestions whether you're hitting the town or hitting the couch.

Staying In

Blue Ribbon BBQ: If your game-watching buddies love pulled pork, then check out the options at these Arlington and Newton 'cue joints. Full dinners ($49.99 for four people, $74.99 for six) may be the way to go for Super Bowl Sunday; see the menu for details (takeout and delivery available; 617-BIG-RIBS; www.blueribbonbbq.com).

Firefly’s: The Tailgate Package at this BBQ specialist in Framingham, Marlborough and Quincy includes three racks of St. Louis ribs with choice of sauce, two lbs. of pulled pork and two whole BBQ chickens with quart-sized sides of baked beans, garlic mashed potatoes, cucumber salad, coleslaw, sweet-potato pecan pudding and a bottle of BBQ sauce ($99.99, feeds 10–12 people; catering and delivery also available, see www.fireflybbq.com for more details).

Legal Sea Foods: Give this popular seafooder 24-hour advance notice and your gourmet order ($300 minimum) will show up at your door. Think lavish shrimp platters, meats for carving and lots of chowder. For more info and to see a menu, go to www.legalseafoods.com (617-530-9455). Takeout is also available at any Legal Sea Foods location.

Redbones BBQ: Orders for a special à la carte Super Bowl takeout menu must be received by this Somerville joint by Friday, February 1st; prices range from $6.99–$20.99 for sizes feeding two to four people. See the menu for more details (617-628-2200).

Going Out
