Celebrity chef Michael Schlow (Alta Strada, Radius) consulted on 606 Congress, a swanky yet moderately priced American in the up-and-coming Seaport District’s new Renaissance Hotel; the open kitchen turns out generous appetizer-size portions of dishes such as local scallops, sirloin steak and mac ’n’ cheese with truffle, all served in a setting featuring vaulted ceilings, multicolored wood floors and a lounge area.
