Vintage, which opened in West Roxbury in August 2005 on the site of the former Fontaine’s Restaurant, abruptly closed on Monday, March 17th. An outgoing phone message and a note on the door stated that the restaurant is "closed for renovations," but some speculate that the closure is for good and due to tough economic times. Jeff Fournier (51 Lincoln) had recently been brought in as consulting chef, so perhaps a total restaurant redo is in the works. We'll just have to wait and see.
