Beehive, the New American eatery and jazz club in the Boston Center for the Arts, goes Mexican for the night of May 5th with a special à la carte menu, live mariachi music and salsa dancing (8 PM; 617-423-0069).
Todd English's south-of-the-border–slanted steakhouse, Bonfire, is ready for the occasion with $12 taco platters and festive margaritas (5–8 PM; 617-262-3473).
It's a fiesta at Masa with a three-course prix fixe menu and margarita specials, plus a mariachi band to get things started followed by a DJ spinning from 10 PM–1 AM ($30 per person; 617-338-8884).
Olé Mexican Grill celebrates Cinco de Mayo with an all-you-can-eat Mexican buffet ($25 per person) in the main dining room; over in the private dining room, a festive à la carte menu for the holiday will be available in addition to the regular menu (617-492-4495).
