After a two-year hiatus, the beloved Italian restaurant Café Marliave, a Downtown Crossing landmark dating back to 1882, is slated to reopen this month following cosmetic renovations. Chef-owner Scott Herritt is restoring the place to its historic integrity, and will serve American – not Italian – cuisine (10 Bosworth St.).
