Hearkening back to old-school West End style, West End Lounge, a subterranean venue beneath Johnnie’s on the Side, is festooned with vintage movie posters, circular leather couches and clusters of cabaret tables; the expansive bar mixes up moderately priced drinks, a slightly elevated stage hosts lives acts and a posh, reservations-only private room courts VIPs; N.B. open Saturday and every other Friday throughout summer 2008, with plans to be fully operational by the fall.
