Restaurant Week Springs Eternal (or at Least Through August)

Lucky for us, several eateries think that Restaurant Week should in fact be Restaurant Month and continue to stave off the late summer doldrums by keeping things lively with prix fixe lunches for
$20.08 and dinners for a cool $33.08. At Aura in the Seaport Hotel, chef Rachel Klein’s three courses are available every lunch and dinner – even on weekends – through Saturday, September 6th. In the South End, Aquitaine, Metropolis Cafe, Sage and Union Bar & Grille are all serving three-course menus through the last day of August. Over on Beacon Hill, chefs at Grotto keep up the Restaurant Week spirit all month during lunch (except Sundays) and dinner. Across the river in Cambridge, get your prix fixe fix at OM during lunch and dinner (except Sundays) and at Upstairs on the Square until August 31st. And Upstairs elaborates on the concept with an additional dinner menu in the Soirée Dining Room for $43.08. Down the road in Somerville, stop by Gargoyles for the Restaurant Week dinner menu through August 31st. Just outside the city limits in the other direction, chef Michael Leviton carries the Restaurant Week torch during dinner at Lumière in Newton until September 5th. Over in Brookline, the Fireplace offers its wallet-friendly lunch and dinner menus through August 31st and La Morra dishes out the dinner deal through September 1st.
