Michael K. Jacek, a Culinary Institute of America alum and former sushi chef at Inaho in Yarmouth, has recently stepped up to run the kitchen at Cafeteria. No sooner did he arrive than he started planning some big changes for this perpetually buzzing Newbury Street hot spot. On Sunday, August 31st, Cafeteria will unveil a brunch menu, which will be served every Sunday from 10 AM–3 PM (279 A Newbury St.; 617-536-2233).
