On Tuesday, September 2nd, some of the city’s best-known Italian restaurants will team up for the North End Progressive Dinner. Attendees receive a map and are assigned to a starting restaurant – either Prezza, Lucca, Tresca or Taranta – where they’ll be offered a choice of four dishes. After finishing that dish, they'll move on to the next restaurant, as instructed on the map, and try another. By the time the night is over, everyone will have sampled a dish from each spot – think of it as taking your palate on a walking tour (6:30 PM–9 PM; $50 per person; $10 additional for optional wine pairings; for advance reservations, call 617-227-1577 between noon–5 PM, or on the day of the event, call Prezza at 617-227-1587).
