TV addicts who can’t get enough of culinary competition shows like Iron Chef and Dinner: Impossible should head to the patio at dante on November 9th, when chef Dante de Magistris will host his first annual Ball Brawl, a meatball cook-off featuring some of Boston’s premier chefs. Scheduled participants include Rodney Murillo (Avila), Jason Santos (Gargoyles on the Square), Tony Susi (Sage) and Andy Husbands (Tremont 647). Guests will be able to watch the chefs in action and then sample some of the innovative creations. Vegetarians need not be worried – veggie meatballs will also be served (2–4 PM; $20 per person; 617-497-4200).
