Traditionally a stressful shopping day for most of us, the day after Thanksgiving should be more palatable this year thanks to Persephone's Black Friday Dinner. Chef-owner Michael Leviton is going all out to get into the mood – rough economy or no – and will be serving special "in-the-black" dishes available à la carte or as a four-course prix fixe for $45 per person. The menu will feature wilted black kale salad with anchovy dressing; seared squid with roasted tomatoes, toasted garlic and squid ink sauce; and boudin noir with celery root purée, roasted apples and bacon. And that's not all. The restaurant will also be showing black-and-white noir films all night and serving a special noir-themed cocktail still to be determined. The Achilles Project, the boutique that houses the restaurant, is getting in on the fun as well with a one-night-only 20%-off sale; plus guests wearing black get an additional 5% off (November 28, 5:30–10 PM; 617-695-2257).
