UpStairs on the Square

On March 31 and April 28, UpStairs on the Square continues its tradition of monthly vegan dinners with a four-course spring menu showcasing locally produced vegetables (6:30–9 PM; $49 per person; 617-864-1933).
On a separate note, fans of the Harvard Square New American have been thrilled to learn that James Beard Award–winning chef Susan Regis has returned full-time to serve "casual haute cuisine" in the restaurant's downstairs Monday Club Bar. Chef Steven Brand will still helm the upstairs kitchen.
