The 12th annual "Chefs in Shorts," a barbecue fest benefiting the Greater Boston Food Bank, kicks off summer in Boston at the Seaport World Trade Center on June 12. Leading chefs from Avila, Bokx 109 American Prime, Da Vinci Ristorante, Davio’s, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, Kingfish Hall, LTK and Olives will be on hand to grill their way into guests’ hearts, with special competitions, tastings and other events planned (7–9:30 PM; $60 per person, includes complimentary beer, wine and tastings; for tickets click here).
