At the Prep Station

If restaurant openings are in slowdown mode as a result of the economy, these forthcoming spots didn't get the memo:

Hingham will welcome a trio of new restaurants later this year. Plans for the Launch at Hingham Shipyard, a huge new development, include Alma Nove (an Italian-Mediterranean restaurant from Paul Wahlberg, Mark and Donnie’s brother) and Esti’s French Bistro (waterside dining, courtesy of Esti Parsons, a former manager of Via Matta and Radius). On the docket nearby: a new Summer Shack from Jasper White, set to open in the Derby Street Shoppes.

Inman Square’s Olecito will soon open a second location in Brookline, at the corner of Cypress Street and Washington Street near Brookline Village (6 Cypress St., Brookline).

The owners of Grill 23 and Harvest are prepping their newest venture, Post 390, in the Back Bay. The upscale American will reside in the Clarendon, the new building going up at the corner of Stuart and Clarendon Streets.

Finally, as area foodies prepare for the closing of South End stalwart Icarus, they might be heartened to learn that plans are in place for Noche to open in its space. The upscale lounge-eatery comes courtesy of Boston Nightlife Ventures, the group behind The Tap and The Federal.
