Veteran restaurateurs Mary and Jackson Kenworth (formerly of Slice of Life and Sweet Life cafes in Oak Bluffs) have created State Road, a New American BYOB on Martha's Vineyard serving midpriced dinners (and counter-service breakfast and lunch) made with vegetables grown on-site; housed in a newly built vineyard-style farmhouse, its rustic-chic environs include three dining rooms, tile and oak floors, vaulted ceilings and a stone fireplace.
