Haley House Bakery Café in Roxbury’s Dudley Square partners with The Color of Film Collaborative to host the latest installment in this year's "Dinner & a Movie Extravaganza" on October 23, featuring the film Simply Raw: Reversing Diabetes in 30 Days. A raw-food feast will be served before the movie, including a veggie wrap, vegan maki rolls, a dinner salad and seasonal fruit with raw cream made from cashews or almonds. Organic beer and biodynamic wine will be available for purchase, along with a wide array of nonalcoholic beverages (5:30–9 PM; $20 per person; tickets available here).
