La Pomme Rouge
Beautifully composed, medium-sized entrees join caviar and cheeses, house-cured charcuterie and handmade pasta on the midpriced New American menu at La Pomme Rouge, a respite from reality in River North; a naughty, voluptuous vibe permeates the decadent lounge decor (leftover from Sugar) with Victorian and art nouveau elements, cozy booths, lots of draping, pillows and tassels and Tiffany lighting; N.B. on Fridays it’s only open for ‘salon’ events.
