Veteran restaurateurs are set to kick off two new spots for your French–Asian fusion dining pleasure: Roland Liccioni (Les Nomades) is partnering with old-school restaurateur Bob Djahanguiri (Yvette Wintergarden, Toulouse) to cook French fare with Pan-Asian accents at the Old Town Brasserie Market (1209 N. Wells St.; 312-943-3000), opening in early September. And in November, Takashi Yagihashi (Detroit’s Tribute, the late Ambria and Yoshi’s Café) will open Takashi, a showcase for his French-informed Asian small plates, in Bucktown’s former Scylla space (1952 N. Damen Ave.).
