Don't get us wrong. The Buzz is very excited about the new Laurent Gras seafood spot slated for spring ’08 in the old Ambria space. But we have to say we were more than a little bit flummoxed when we recently received the press release announcing its official name: L.2O (apparently pronounced "el-two-oh") is meant to honor Laurent’s "cherished relationship to seafood and the ocean." Lettuce Entertain You thought it so clever they had it trademarked, resulting in L.2O™, which looks more like a secret formula than the foodie haven this will no doubt (deservedly) become.
