With Tallulah, Troy Graves (ex Meritage) brings Contemporary American bistro fare to Lincoln Square, tweaking classics with global flavors to yield midpriced offerings such as pork belly bulgoki and chai crème brûlée; the tiny space is minimal-chic yet warm thanks to blond wood and a cream-and-coffee-bean color scheme, with year-round outdoor dining and BYO Tuesdays as added enticements (4539 N. Lincoln Ave.; 773-942-7585).
Up the street, Lincoln Square’s former Brioso has morphed into Jack Rabbit; the cozy neighborhood setting with colorful tables and blue-tiled bar remains, but the midpriced menu now features a Mex-Southwestern bistro mix – happily, regulars are still likely to find many former favorites alongside the requisite sangria, margaritas and mojitos (4603 N. Lincoln Ave.; 773-989-9000).
