If there were an event perfectly suited to Stretch Run, the recently opened River North sports bar and OTB hall, it would have to be horse racing's Triple Crown. So there's no surprise that the bar making the most of Kentucky Derby Day on May 3rd. Patrons can watch and wager in the bar's downstairs dining area or the private-viewing carrels on the second level, enjoying drink specials that include $5 mint juleps and $17 buckets of Corona, Corona Light and Pacifico. Stretch Run plans to offer similar deals for the Preakness on May 17th and the Belmont Stakes on June 7th (10:30–2 AM; $5 cover for the Derby race; $25 food-minimum for table seating; $5 fee for private cubicles; 312-644-4477).
