Cocktail lists are increasingly combining old-school techniques with new-school ingredients, and now you can learn the fundamentals of classic mixology. On Tuesday, August 26th, wine bar In Fine Spirits will welcome Sonja Kassebaum, co-founder of North Shore Distillery, to lead a seminar on creating sip-worthy drinks at home. From tools to techniques and recipes, Kassebaum will teach how to mix pre-Prohibition cocktails, and demonstrate a couple of modern takes on traditional tastes (7:30 PM; $30 per person; 773-334-9463).
