On Saturday, Latin-Indian fusion restaurant Vermilion embraces its background with a Bollywood-themed night. At dinner, trained dancers will perform multiple Bollywood numbers, and new seafood specials such as tandoori pomfret and soft shell chile crab make their debut. As soon as plates are cleared and the dancers finish, it will be the diners' turn to take the floor as a DJ spins popular Indian tracks. Those not ordering food will be charged a $15 cover from 9 PM onwards, but if you dress in stylish Indian-inspired garb, the staff may choose to waive the fee. Observers and dance enthusiasts are welcomed as drop-ins, but if you plan on dining, advance reservations are strongly recommended
(7–9 PM dinner and performances, 11 PM dancing; 10 W. Hubbard St.; 312-527-4060).
