River North will soon get a taste of modern-tinged Mexican delicacies at New York import Mercadito, due to open mid-summer. On chef Patricio Sandoval's menu, expect a selection of guacamoles (including a mango, jicama and chipotle version), ceviche and inspired tacos, while the setting will feature a retractable glass door, an intimate 35-seat tequila lounge, a guacamole bar and a centrally located 14-seat communal dining table with custom-designed lanterns made entirely of rope (108 W.
