BOKA

In honor of Labor Day (albeit a week early), Lincoln Park's BOKA is going to the dogs. On Monday, August 31, all tips for the evening will be donated to animal shelter PAWS Chicago. But here's the twist: the restaurant's staff gets the night off, and events coordinator Elizabeth Hamel will serve as hostess, owner Kevin Boehm and manager Ian Goldberg will wait tables, and owner Rob Katz will be mixing drinks. Don't worry about the food, though, as chef Giuseppe Tentori will still be in his toque cooking up three-course ($55) and five-course ($70) tasting menus (312-337-6070; reserve online).
