NYC Mexican Mercadito makes its way to River North, offering creative renditions of taqueria favorites (guacamole, ceviche, tacos) and a fine selection of tequila and Mexican beers, all served in low-lit, nightclubby surroundings with rope ‘screens’ separating bare white tables, a fantastical Mayan frieze and trippy backlit pyramids behind the bar; seating options include a communal table and sidewalk dining in warm weather.
