Old Town's Eivissa is celebrating National Seafood Month this October by offering different traditional seafood specials. For the following two weeks, look forward to seared sea scallops with manzanilla olive tapenade and romesco sauce ($4) and red snapper stuffed with clams and shrimp in a salsa verde with saffron angel hair (tapas $9, entree $18), both offered October 19–25. The next week, October 26–31, blue soft-shell crab with piquant green soffrito sauce and tomàquet ($4.50) and grilled branzino with saffron spaghetti and braised leeks (tapas $8, entree $17) will be served (312-654-9500).
This week Hugo’s Frog Bar and Fish House in the Gold Coast is also getting on November's seafood celebration – and the start of Florida stone crab season – by giving away free stone crab claws to all guests on Friday, October 23, and Saturday, October 24 from 5 PM until midnight with purchase of an entree (312-640-0999).
