If you're looking to learn and enjoy a fine meal, then check out these events:

April 14: Chef Antonin Bonnet is offering a spring cookery class at The Greenhouse, where he will demonstrate a four-course menu that 10 guests will enjoy at the chef’s table (10 AM–12:30 PM; followed by a four-course lunch with matched wines; £120 per person; 020-7499 3331).

April 21: Decadent Saturdays at Pearl is hosted by chef Jun Tanaka and sommelier Michael Davis, who guide participants through a selection of lavish foods matched with some of the finest champagnes. This event pairs dark, milk and white chocolate with Jacquesson & Fils, Vauzelle Terme, Ay Grand Cru Blanc de Noirs 1996; Krug Rose NV; and Laurent Perrier Brut Rose. Those wishing to stay on for dinner willl be offered complimentary champagne with their meal (5–6:30 PM; £80 per person; 020-7829 7000).

April 23: Umu is offering a "Japanese protocol dinner." There will be a six-course kaiseki menu with matching sake to introduce you to the proper etiquette and traditions of Japanese food and culture (7 PM; £120 per person; 020-7499 8881).
