The Narrow, Gordon Ramsay’s first foray into midpriced pub dining, makes its debut after a no-frills revamp of a characterful old dockmaster’s house, set dramatically on the riverfront at a junction between the Thames and Limehouse Marina; a short, punchy menu of Traditional British fare (***-a-leekie pie, pig cheeks, etc.) is served in a simply appointed dining room, which will have a glass-fronted conservatory with a retractable roof by early summer; N.B. there are similar pub roll-out plans from Ramsay, with Maida Vale next in line.
