Opposite the huge United Grand Lodge just off Drury Lane, Great Queen Street, a casual, bohemian newcomer, comes courtesy of the Anchor & Hope team and mixes a casual, no-frills setting – abundant wood, basic seating and blood-red walls – with a pricey Modern British menu of gutsy, bistro-style dishes; in keeping with the rustic approach, wine is served in basic glass tumblers.
