Tea at the Terrace at Brunello
The Terrace at Brunello, the stylish Italian eatery at the Baglioni, will begin serving a "Royal Afternoon Tea" on Monday, 18th June, and continue through Sunday, 15th July. There are three options to choose from, and of course they all include the sweeping views of Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. There's the fairly traditional offering of tea with finger sandwiches, scones, muffins, a fresh-fruit tartlet and cookies plus the unexpected chocolate-and-coconut truffles (£20). For £9.50 more, they'll add a glass of champagne or Pimms Royal to the order. Those who don't fancy a hot beverage in the warm weather can go for the delicious combo of chocolate-dipped strawberries and a glass of champagne for £13.50 (3–6 PM; 020-7368 5900).
