Sam Harrison of Sam’s Brasserie & Bar in Chiswick has taken over the now-closed Balham Kitchen & Bar and will relaunch it in late September as Harrison’s, featuring a Modern British brasserie menu served all day from breakfast through late evening. Like Chiswick, Balham is full of singles and young families, so Harrison is hoping that his new spot will attract a similar crowd (15-19 Bedford Hill, SW12; 020-8675 6900).
