The Swallow Street branch is offering two Argentinean wine tasting courses that can be purchased as gift vouchers for Christmas. The first course is a three-wine, half-hour personal tasting with the sommelier in the wine boutique Cavas de Gaucho. After the tasting, customers can choose their favourite bottle to take home in a canvas wine bag made in Buenos Aires (£60 for two people). The second course is a one-hour personal tasting of five premium wines representing the major wine regions of Argentina. Again, customers can choose their favourite bottle to take away in one of Gaucho's handmade leather cylinder wine carriers with a corkscrew (£150 for two people; 020-7437 9895).
