Texture, an airy newcomer with high ceilings, creamy hues and plush seating in the former Deya space near Oxford Street in Marylebone, comes courtesy of two protégés of Raymond Blanc, Icelandic chef Agnar Sverrisson and sommelier Xavier Rousset; a central bar divides a comfy lounge from an elegant dining room, which offers a Nordic-influenced Modern European menu with a novel pricing approach: at lunch each dish costs £8.50 whilst dinner is restricted to a £45 prix fixe.
