Fingers at the Ready

While these restaurants haven’t opened yet, they are highly anticipated so we don’t want you to be out in the cold without a reservation. Sam Harrison, owner of Sam’s Brasserie & Bar, has acquired the Balham Kitchen & Bar and will relaunch it as Harrison’s, an all-day Modern British brasserie, on 22nd October (15-19 Bedford Hill, SW12; 020-8675 6900). Claude and Claire Bosi’s well-regarded Hibiscus is relocating from Ludlow to Mayfair and opens 24th October (29 Maddox St., W1; 020-7629 2999). Rowley Leigh (ex Kensington Place) debuts Le Café Anglais in Bayswater on 19th November. The 170-seater is in a landmarked site with floor-to-ceiling windows and an open kitchen (8 Porchester Gardens, W2; 020-7221 1415). And Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester will showcase views of Hyde Park when it opens in Mayfair on 13th November (Dorchester Hotel, 53 Park Lane, W1; 020-7629 8866).
