This seems to be the season for a bit of spit and polish.
Apparently Greenhouse isn't the only restaurant closed for refurbishment: Chelsea Brasserie is also temporarily out of commission while a bar is added to its space. And on 18th January, Launceston Place will shut its doors to reopen some time in March with new chef Tristan Welsh, previously of Pétrus, at the helm.
Meanwhile, Meza is planning to reopen on 21st January with a new Mediterranean tapas menu, while Almeida is aiming to debut its fresher, lighter look on 28th January, when it will also introduce a more modern French menu.
