Foxtrot Oscar, a classic Chelsea neighbourhood bistro, will reopen on 21st January under the Gordon Ramsay banner. The restaurant first opened in 1980 with simple comfort food and had a loyal clientele including members of Ramsay’s team at his Royal Hospital Rd. location.
"My aim is to take the restaurant back to its glory days; providing fantastic food in a friendly, unpretentious environment – the ultimate local bistro," Ramsay said.
The menu will keep in line with the original, but will be updated by Ramsay lieutenant Mark Sargeant (Claridge’s), who is also overseeing the menus at new Ramsay pubs
The Narrow, The Devonshire and the February opening of The Warrington. The decor will look a bit different too, with a new modern yet comforting color scheme of cream and black. It will be open daily for lunch and dinner (79 Royal Hospital Rd., SW3; 020-7352 4448).
