Talk of a rift between chef Marcus Wareing of Pétrus, part of the Gordon Ramsay Holdings empire, and Gordon Ramsay himself has been circling for some time. Now it looks as though the two will soon part ways. The Berkeley has confirmed that it will work directly with Wareing when it launches its own restaurant after Pétrus' lease expires on 19th September. GRH is set to transfer the Pétrus name to another location – no confirmation yet as to which one.
