Following recent openings in São Paulo and Cairo, Paris’ Buddha Bar will open an offshoot at Victoria Embankment on 24th July. Conceived by entrepreneur Raymond Visan, who created the original Paris site, the London outpost will offer views of the Thames from its never-before-used space directly beneath Waterloo Bridge. Like the other locations, the restaurant will feature a menu of Far East cuisine, an extensive DJ program and, of course, a five-m.-high Buddha (Victoria Embankment, WC2; 020-3371 7777).
