Dominated by a huge, enthroned Buddha, this bi-level London outpost of the international Buddha Bar chain (Paris, New York, Dubai and more) resides in darkly exotic digs on Victoria Embankment underneath Waterloo Bridge, and combines comfy, incense-fuelled bar areas with a swathe of tables serving pricey Pan-Asian fare; there’s also a casual sushi bar and sultry sounds emanating from a resident DJ; N.B. it’s dinner only, but the bar opens from 4 PM.
